Amazon’s best holiday season shipped over 1 billion items – CNET

Another holiday year of record breaking sales for Amazon! One of the most coveted gifts shipped from Amazon was the Echo Dot, where it was stated that they had trouble keeping them in stock.

According to Amazon’s records, on Cyber Monday, customers were buying 46 electronics per second on a mobile device.

Microsoft partners with TomTom for smarter maps, smarter mobility – Roadshow

TomTom and Microsoft announced a new partnership that will see location-based services integrated into Microsoft’s Azure cloud platform as a means to make it easier to add location awareness.

By looking at schedules and driving patterns, Microsoft will be able to offer up suggestions for different routes or potential points of interest.
